Anita was home for thirty minutes when there was knock on her front door. “I’ll get it,” she announced to the room at large before moving towards the front door. She put one hand on her gun at her waist. A person cannot be too cautious, especially her, when every Tom, Dick, and Harry decide that it’s in their best interest to try to kill the Executioner.

They all stared in the shocked silence that followed that statement, then it soon wore off, and the disbelief was voiced.

AN: Wow I cannot believe we are in the middle of summer.  No I have not abandoned any of my stories. I just gave my self a break.  In fact I actually started another Stargate-Buffy story. Do I need to write a third story when I writing this and Three Warriors? Probably not.  But in the meanwhile I will be consecutively working on all three stories. “I wanna give you a heads up,” Zerbrowski announced as Anita's feet crossed the threshold. “The Lieutenant is on a warpath.” 

SAND And STONE

Two friends were walking through the desert and during some point of the journey, they had an argument; and one friend slapped the other one in the face.

The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, wrote in the sand: “Today my best friend slapped me in the face.”

They kept on walking, until they found an oasis, Where they decided to take a bath The one who had been slapped got stuck in the Mire and started drowning, but the friend saved him.

After he recovered from the near drowning, he wrote on a stone: "Today my best friend saved my life.”

The friend who had slapped and saved his best friend Asked him, "After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now, you write on a stone, why?"

The friend replied, "When someone hurts us we should write it down in sand, where winds of forgiveness can erase it away. But, when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it in stone where no wind can ever erase it."

Learn to write your hurts in the sand and to carve your blessings in stone.

They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them, but then an entire life To forget them.

Chapter 12

At first, Anita couldn’t find the crime scene; Dolph's directions weren’t that great. She had gotten lost at least twice, before she saw the narrow turn off. Then when she found the road, her jeep could barely fit through. She gathered her leather jacket close to her, wishing that she had changed her clothing before she ventured to the crime scene.

This one is priceless...

Its the view from the living room of my friend's flat when you squint a bit - I was playing with my new camera, and was lucky enough to get the swan taking off ,I think it is kind of relaxing and when I'm bored I can daydream a bit.
